The positive result changes the stick color to purple. Purple stick means that it detected acid phosphatase specific for semen. Now you can send your material to certified laboratory to check it with profesional procedure*.

What does the test involve?
Strip Detective is acid phosphatase detection test which is specific for semen.
In some cases, rarely acid phosphatase may also occur in: deodorants, vaginal discharge and certain bacterias so if the test is positive you should follow it with profesional sperm detection test made in laboratory.
How do the positive result looks like?
A positive test will turn the test pad colour into purple. Compare the colour of the test performed with the reference range available on the box and check the result.

How do the negative result looks like?
A negative test will not turn the test pad colour into purple. It may be a little yellow or pink. Compare the colour of the test performed with the reference range available on the box and check the result.

If you have doubts about the test result you can make a negative control with unused stick.
What to do if i have doubts about the test result?
If you are not sure about the final result, you can do the negative control.
Please take unused strip and spray it with water only. Wait for 2 minutes and compare the control result with your result. If the negative result color will be the same as yours – interpret it as negative too.
In some cases acid phosphatase may also occur in: deodorants, vaginal discharge and certain bacterias so if the test is positive you should follow it with profesional sperm detection test made in laboratory.
What it means if the purple color is less or more intense?
More intense colour indicates a higher concentration of acid phosphatase in the trace. Sperm contains high concentrations of acid phosphatase. The concentration of semen in the trace may change due to amount od water added, the destruction of the trace during washing, time influence effect and others.
If the test is positive you should follow it with certified laboratory procedure.
What is the expiry date of Strip Detective?
The test can be used for one year from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is printed on the box.
Do Strip Detective at-home infidelity test damage the tested material?
We propose two methods of testing. Please use the method B if you want to be sure that there will be no purple traces on your fabrics and other materials.

Instruction of use
Fill the attached bottle with water. Spray the suspicious stain 2 times.
Spray the test pad 1 time and press it to the stain. The 1cm test pad should be facing the stain.
Leave the test pad on the stain and wait for 2 minutes.
Check the result. If the color of the test pad will turn purple - the stain contains acid phosphatase. Please do the profesional laboratory test.
Fill the attached bottle with water. Spray the suspicious stain 2 times.
Spray the ear cleaning stick pad 3 times (it is not attached). Turn it in the stain few times. Make sure that your stick is wet and touching the stain all around
Press the ear cleaning stick to the test pad. Leave the stick on the test pad. The 1cm test pad should be facing the cotton pad.
Wait for 2 minutes
Check the result! The color of the test pad will turn purple if the stain contains acid phosphatase. Please do the profesional sperm detection laboratory test.
